Bubby’s Pie Company Yokohama

In New York’s Tribeca area there is a popular restaurant called Bubby’s Pie Company and soon this same restaurant will be here in Yokohama. In Sakuragicho, to be precise. It’s always good to have new restaurants to choose from and other places to get western style food. It will be opening on June 1st near Sakuragicho Station. It seems that it might just be open for two years but perhaps if it is successful it will remain longer.
I expect the menu to be altered slightly for Japanese taste and the portions may even be smaller than the Tribeca restaurant but who knows. They will be serving things like hamburgers, pies and pasta and other fare typical of American style restaurants.
Cafe and Restaurant
It looks like there may be two areas because according to this website (Japanese) there will be 43 seats in the cafe with 123 in the restaurant and the cafe is open from 08:00 to 22:00 while the restaurant is open from 11:00 to 23:00. And believe it or not, it will be a no smoking establishment.
Lunch will be around 850yen, dinner 1500yen.

What’s up everyone, my name is Shaun. I’m new to the forum and just wanted to say hey. I hope I posted this in the right section!
Nice homepage! I tried Bubby’s. The food was just OK — I think the burgers at Friday’s, Hard Rock, & Kua Aina are juicier. I had to sit facing a wall. Maybe it’s not a good place to go by yourself. The coffee and blues music were nice though.
Doesn’t sound like the greatest experience. I had pie there a while back. There were three of us with decent seating. I thought the pies tasted good but they were small/expensive. I like Kia Aina burgers the best. I haven’t tried Hard Rock in Yokohama but in Saipan it sucked. I expect Hard Rock in Yokohama to be better though.
I went to Bubby’s last week (the Yokohama location) and it was outstanding!! I had the Avocado Cheesburger with fries — I’m totally craving it now! My friend had the Chicken and Leek Pot Pie with pome frites and absolutely loved her meal too! We each bought a slice of pie: the Whiskey Apple pie and the Peanut Butter pie. The Whiskey Apple pie was pretty darn good. But we could have passed on the Peanut Butter pie. I can’t wait to go back. It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had … and WAY better prices than the Hard Rock Cafe!
Thanks for the quick review. You have made me want to go back.
