Phone Consultation Service for Health and Food Regarding Radiation

This is a new information service set up by the City of Yokohama for its citizens to ask questions about the radiation issues due to the Fukushima plant crisis. I got the information from the Yoke website. Check it out for more details.

We have established a Phone Consultation Service in the Public Health Center (Health and Social Welfare Bureau, City of Yokohama) regarding health and food for phone consultations from evacuees and citizens.

Yokohama City Earthquake Information Center

As you are all aware of by now, a huge earthquake stuck Japan on March 11th 2011. The effects in Yokohama were pretty mild compared to other areas in Japan but it was still a pretty big shakeup. If you are in Yokohama and need some information about the earthquake or what to do in the aftermath Yoke has set up an information center in Minato Mirai. Details are as follows:
